A second series of birds inspired by my family’s love for nature, the wilderness, and the winged creatures that live there. This second series are birds found in parts of the eastern U.S. and chosen based on quirky behavior, overlooked beauty, rarity, and inquisitive study on my part. Ink studies give shape to each bird with playful layers of watercolor.
