Studies of Sunflowers.
In my kitcchen I had just arranged six sunflowers in individual vases to showcase their beauty. While eating lunch I was drawn to the personalities variation of colors. Quickly between bites I sketched on canvases to quicly lay the ground work for the layers to follow.
While working I though of similar strokes and colors Van Gogh might have used.
