Fine Art & Murals

My pieces highlight elements of Kentucky, history, horsepower, and my favorite art nouveau flare. These pieces were created with the Kentucky gentlemen in mind. Functioning pieces of art to be displayed in a den, study, lounge, or private collection.

From left: Highlighting Kentucky, the Derby, and the training and strength behind racing and ballet. Hand sculpted horses head surrounding a pointe shoe finishing the lower jaw. Finished in a faux bronze with patina and filigree details.

Center Knob Creek 9 Bottle: Based on structure and patent art this piece creates a flow of horse racing and Kentucky tradition. Elements of the Kentucky Flag, Horse structure, 1938 V-8 Mercedes Engine, the starting gates for racing, roses, waterways across Kentucky, 101st Airborne Division, Bourbon, draped with art nouveau details on the top joining elements. The Knob Creek 9 label was intentionally left unpainted to mimic a race day ticket and highlight the contents of the bottle.

Far Right: A reconstructed ballet pointe show to represent a 1940s-50s gentlemen’s smoking slipper. Embellishments of the entrance to Keenland and stadium, art nouveau flare, and Ashton cigar wrapper (which pairs with Knobb Creek 9 Bourbon). An antique wooden shoe form fills the slipper to give structure, history, and form to the piece.

Both slippers are mounted to custom book end forms to be displayed as functional pieces of artwork and conversation pieces.

My sponsor for this event is Freedom Tactical. Supplying first responders, cities, military, and artists like myself with high quality products, gear, and great service. They do beautiful custom embroidery and direct to garment printing.
