I have really been looking back into color and why I gravitate towards certain color palettes. This piece intentionally limited me to use a monochromatic style palette and minimal black.
Forcing myself to see sections instead of details, I mapped out this skull study in quick pen and layered on highlights, mid-tones, and then shadows.
Poscas create a different kind of acrylic mark, and it was hard to get use to.
