“Snake Skin Study”
Watercolor on Bristol Vellum Paper
9”x12”
Digging back into my curiosity cabinet I used a snake skin for this study. Intentionally taking a detailed look with layers, marks, and colors, this piece shaped up with twists and folds in the snake shed.
Again back to color study and the relationship the colors had within the shed as well as with the light source caught my attention.
